110 Gallon Tank

“I reached out to our account manager about expanding our fuel program. We were looking into getting a permanent bulk tank on property. They showed up later that week to look into options for the bulk tank. While here, they took the time to learn more about our operation. We were using 5-gallon cans to transport fuel to our equipment in the field. Since the business is growing, we have been making more frequent trips to fill our cans. They suggested to transition into using a 110-gallon DOT tank. We can use this tank to make life easier now and still utilize it when the bulk tank is installed. The DOT tank saves us trips to the gas station and time for our employees. The tank itself is very light and allows us to keep our equipment out for longer periods of time and further from our base yard. Not only were they able to address my initial need but also provided us with a huge help in an area we weren't even looking at. You could tell they were very familiar with the industry.”

Situation:  Customer was using 5-gallon cans to fill tree trimming equipment in the field. The cans were kept in the back of a pickup truck. This was a hassle to fill each individual can at the gas station and required multiple trips to the gas station when they had a big project. The business is also growing, which makes this a bigger and bigger issue for them.

Solution:  We recommended they use our 110-gallon DOT tank. The tank fit perfectly on the same pickup truck they were using for the 5-gallon cans. The tanks are UL listed for gas and diesel. There are no requirements for the driver to have a CDL with hazmat endorsement since our tanks are below the 120-gallon threshold.

Success:  The 110-gallon DOT tank reduces the number of trips they need to take to the gas station. Filling a single tank compared to multiple gas cans also reduces the time spent filling. They are now able to hold more fuel more conveniently. The tanks come with a hose and pump, so they are able to go directly to their equipment from the new tank.
