When the three largest distributors of fuel and lubricant products on the Big Island merged in 1998, the result was a dynamic new company called Hawaii Petroleum Inc.

Since that time, HPI has established itself as the premier distributor of fuel and lubricant products on the Big Island of Hawaii.

A dedicated group of 25 employees provide the backbone of HPI's local operations. All reside on the Big Island and provide the local expertise that has proven invaluable to the company and its loyal customers.

With offices, warehouses and terminal operations in both Hilo and Kona, HPI easily meets the fuel and lubrication requirements of Big Island businesses and consumers.

HPI's proprietary gas card program -- Hawaii Fueling Network -- provides a convenient, cost saving way for businesses and consumers to fuel. Four commercial cardlock sites in Hilo and Kona, as well as six HFN retail locations around the island provide a convenient network of fueling sites.

Track record of success

Pineapple, sugar, ground transportation, military, cattle industry and most recently, the construction industry, have set the course of growth for this island.
